When Dave's NASA work is threatened, he learns that his job might be saved by another secret project called Project Gemini. However, the pay raise is only $10 per hour and not even enough to cover Dave's bills. It leads him on a journey to uncover the truth about Gemini since it doesn't seem like much of an improvement. When Dave's not around, his roommate Will tries to help him. However, Gemini is a classified program, and only the top brass have access to any information about it. After Dave finds his mother's name in some documents in the Pentagon, he risks his life to find out more about Gemini. During this time, he encounters spies from Russia and other enemies of the United States who want him dead to retrieve information on Gemini.
