NRThe Sinner is a crime drama that follows Detective Harry Ambrose as he strives to determine why seemingly ordinary people commit terrible crimes. The first season follows Detective Ambrose as he is tasked with finding out why a troubled mother has brutally stabbed a man during her vacation to the beach, yet she has no recollection of why she did it. In the second season, Ambrose finds himself in western New York after a young teen admits to poisoning his parents, and he soon discovers that the entire town is trying to keep secrets buried.
