Ivan the gorilla has grown tired of his captivity. He befriends Stella the elephant and together they decide to escape their human-imposed imprisonment. While devising their escape plan, the two clever animals also start to investigate the past of Ivan. As one can imagine, family-friendly hijinx ensue and the capers just get whackier the longer the movie goes on. The movie stars Sam Rockwell and Helen Mirren in this family adventure.
