There are certain rules for surviving in a world where the living dead walk and society has shattered. These lessons have kept Columbus and his companions Tallahassee, Wichita and Little Rock alive in a world gone mad. However, when the group decides to move into the American heartland, Columbus discovers the lessons he has learned are incomplete. In their search for a place to settle down, the rag-tag family faces evolved zombies as well as fellow survivors. When growing pains threaten to tear the team apart, the beleaguered Columbus must learn some new rules fast or lose his allies forever.
