Z Nation is a television comedy series about a zombie apocalypse set some time in the future. Everyone has been infected by the deadly zombie virus. It takes some time, but once the virus reaches maturity people turn completely into zombies. There is only one person who hasn't been infected, and he goes by the name of Murphy. The antibodies in his blood are needed to create a vaccine. A rogue group of strangers want to get Murphy, who lives in New York, to the state of California where the last known viral lab is located. One of these men is known as Citizen Z, a computer programmer.
