Based on a true story, "Slamma Jamma" tells the story of rising college basketball player, Michael Diggs as his life is thrown into chaos when he is wrongly accused of a crime. Wrongly sent to prison, Diggs feels his dream of basketball superstardom has come to an end when he is finally released and returns home to come to terms with a life forever changed. A shot at redemption is found by Michael Diggs when he decides to enter the National Slam Dunk contest and sets out to build bridges with his friends and family.
