David, Ryan, and Jordan are three broke grad students who manage to create a truly revolutionary procedure. Using technology, the grad students develop a way to collect data from a subject's mind and interpret their actual thoughts. Eventually, the grad students fine tune their procedure into a way for one person to directly hear another person's thoughts. When the military hears of this discovery and decides to weaponize it and use it to harm people, David and Ryan have to go up against the government to stand up for what is right.
