West Beverly Hills High School has been the scene for a lot of drama over the years, but everyone knows that it is all part of being the focal point of the social scene in Beverly Hills. The Wilsons are a family from Kansas who feel like they have the opportunity of a lifetime when they relocate to Beverly Hills to pursue lucrative business opportunities. The Wilson parents are worried that their children, Annie and Dixon, will have problems adjusting to the much different lifestyle that Beverly Hills offers. But Annie and Dixon seem to fit right in with the rest of the kids at West Beverly High, which is a relief to their parents. Annie and Dixon fit in so well that they both start to get caught up in the different groups and the politics that seem to dominate the high school. The parents soon start to wonder if moving to Beverly Hills was the best move they could have made for their entire family.
