Dennis Reynolds, Ronald "Mac" McDonald, and Charlie Kelly, buddies from high school that are now in their early thirties, are the owners of the dilapidated and definitely in violation of health code local South Philadelphia watering hole, Paddy's Pub. Along with Dennis' twin sister "Sweet" Dee and the sibling's "father", Frank, the quintet run the almost 100% fruitless drinking establishment. The "Gang" also happens to be the most self-centered, greedy, immature, and overall terrible group of people in existence. From tricking a priest into leaving his church, to pretending to be mentally handicapped to obtain welfare, to dating underage girls and boys in order to go to prom, to attempting to (and sometimes succeeding in) sleeping with each other's parents, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia chronicles their appalling decisions, hare-brained schemes, lousy attitudes, ridiculous plans, and awful efforts to get ahead in life while either colluding with or against each other and any person, place, or thing that may stand in their way. Each episode is another reason to loathe and yet at the same time laugh and love the Gang.
