A group of plucky organized crime wives from Hell's Kitchen set out to prove that women are capable of maintaining the family empire. When the husbands are shipped off to prison for their gangster activities, their wives are left to contemplate how to keep operations afloat. They manage to put a woman's touch on the criminal enterprise while getting revenge against the other thugs who are responsible for sending the husbands to prison.
