The Female Brain (2017)

Julia is a neuroscientist committed to understanding the way the human brain works, and she is especially interested in its connection to romantic missteps. She decides to conduct a study that deals with this subject, and three couples help to illustrate all the various ways that romantic impulses can lead us astray. In the meantime, she finds herself startled to discover that despite her scientific outlook, she too is prone to making poor decisions in the realm of romance, especially if a handsome face is involved.
