A young girl goes missing after four girls conduct a ritual, hoping to debunk the myth of a local horror called Slender Man. The monster travels in the minds of people, getting in their heads like a virus and driving them insane from the inside, leaving the town to figure out just exactly who is Slender Man and what threat does he pose to society. The line between legend and fact becomes blurred as the girls realize the consequences of their initial doubt.
