Andre "Dre" Johnson Jr. is living the American dream. He is a successful advertising executive and lives in an amazing house in an upper-middle-class neighborhood. He is married to a Rainbow "Bow" Johnson, a successful anesthesiologist, and they have four gorgeous kids: Zoey, Andre Jr., Jack and Diane. His father, "Pops," is around for advice whenever he needs it. He has an extremely stable and loving family. Yet, Dre is an African-American living with his mixed-race wife and children in a mostly white community. Fearing that his family is losing their cultural identity, he decides to do something about it.
