2 Broke Girls is a slapstick comedy about Max Black, a street smart brunette with a lot of sass, and Caroline Channing, a sophisticated princess with some bad luck when it comes to Daddy?s trust fund. Max must work two jobs in order to scrap by and Caroline hopes to turn her luck around by waitressing for money. For these two reasons these women reluctantly find themselves working at the Greasy Spoon diner and become the unlikeliest of friends. Max first judges Caroline to be another incompetent server that she is going to have to clean up after but soon finds out that Caroline is a lot more than meets the eye. Caroline soon discovers Max?s talent for baking amazing cupcakes and envisions a future for the both of them to start their own business, but first they need the cash. In order to make this dream a reality, two broke girls work at the diner with a variety of characters, saving up tips and reaching towards a dream.
