Heaven Is For Real is the touching true life story of Colton, a four-year old who apparently experienced the after-life during surgery. Based on the book by the same name, Colton's encounter is related by his father, a pastor in a small town in Nebraska. Much of Colton's after-life experiences are told in the four-year old's own words. It is clear that Colton has an out of body experience during surgery. He describes looking down and seeing his Dad praying for him in the waiting room while the doctor performed surgery. But the out of body experience becomes more involved as Colton begins to reveal information that would be impossible for him to have known. For example, he speaks in great detail his great-grandfather who passed away 30 years before Colton was even born. Even more dramatic, he meets the sister that his Mom miscarried, something that was certainly never mentioned to a four-year old child. Still, there are skeptics who refuse to believe the Nebraska pastor and his family who only wish to convey the comforting message that Heaven is for real.
