This is a story of an older artist named Tommaso, who is living in Rome with his much younger wife. They two have a young daughter that the two of them adore. Tommaso is a recovering addict who is in the process of piecing his life together. The backdrop of the movie is a screenplay for a science fiction movie that he is currently working on. The movie is about a man who survives in a post-apocalyptic wasteland trying to survive and learning to love again in the process. Events in Tommaso?s life threaten to tip him out of control, as various fears and tensions build up throughout the film.
