Lorelai and Rory Gilmore, after nearly 10 years since the finale of The Gilmore Girls, return to our screens in this Internet television series from Netflix. In Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, we follow Lorelai and Rory through four seasons. Starting off in Spring, Rory is still pursuing writing and involved with Logan; however, she is floundering in her career and relationships, as she struggles with journalism and has a no-strings-attached relationship with Logan, despite being involved with someone else. As for Lorelai, she and Luke are having problems and her father has recently died, leaving her mother, Emily Gilmore, aimless. Throughout the series we see Lorelai, Rory, and Emily struggle to find themselves and repair their relationships, culminating in Rory announcing her pregnancy, although the father remains unnamed.
