It focuses on an air traffic controller named Dylan Branson, whose uncanny talent for seeing patterns evolves into the ability to notice ripples in time and space itself. He is suspended from work when this distracts him and almost causes an airplane crash at 2:22 PM. Now he must find a way to understand these ripples and stop them from destroying JFK International Airport, as well as protect Sarah, a former dancer whom he meets and falls for shortly after being suspended.
