Helen is a peculiar 18-year-old who has many strange habits. Particularly unusual are her sexual practices, which involve the use of vegetables, and her disdainful attitude toward the basics of hygiene. She also has a tendency to use drugs, and she has an frustrating friendship with her best friend Corrina. In addition to all of this, Helen is the product of divorce, and that has deeply damaged her. After she is admitted into the hospital to treat an anal fissure, she hatches a plot to reconcile her estranged parents, while also courting the attention of her attractive male nurse, Robin.
