Hard-living Texan Jesse Custer is on a mission to find God, who has inexplicably abandoned Heaven. After being possessed by an entity called Genesis, Jesse finds he is endowed with the ability to have others do his bidding. He takes to the road accompanied by his girlfriend Tulip O?Hare and Cassidy, an Irish vampire to encounter natural and a lot of unnatural obstacles to his quest. The series is based on the popular cult comic book.
