This show follows the adventures of a group of people living in a world of zombies, or the walking dead. Somehow the members of this group survived the initial plague that swept the world, and have joined together to try their best to survive. As the show progresses, the dynamics of the group change. They struggle with common themes such as government, distribution of responsibilities, and ethical dilemmas such as murder. There is also an underlying current throughout the series of exactly how the zombie virus made its appearance and how the virus will ultimately affect the survivors.
