The Civil War has been underway. Life for many has been turned upside down, especially for three particular Southern women. These women, consisting of two sisters and an African American slave, are left without any men in their lives as the war is tapering off. So now they must take matters of their protection into their own hands. The Union Army is rapidly moving in on the south; meanwhile, a small army of rogue soldiers is also spontaneously making attacks on homes. These three women must now defend themselves, their home, and their way of living all on their own.
