Six young friends are hiking the Appalachian Trail in search of an elusive Civil War fort. They quickly find themselves hunted by The Foundation, a mysterious cult who have lived away from society in the secluded mountains for hundreds of years. The group finds themselves springing hunting traps as they try to escape members of the cult. After killing one of The Foundation, they are captured and brought to trial for judgment. They soon find that the group is not what they first appear and the hiking group is released, only to be hunted by something much worse.
