In Last Man Down, a buff retired Special Forces operative named John Wood cuts himself off from society. He chose to live off the grid after his wife dies in a deadly pandemic. His ex-Commander Stone killed wood's wife after she became infected. Later, he meets an injured woman in the woods named Maria. Stone is hunting Maria as her body holds the key to a vaccine. Stone knows hover controls the vaccine, controls life.
