Both Nikki and Leo grew up in Little Italy where their families once ran a pizzeria together, but a long-standing feud eventually got in the way, forcing the families to open rival businesses to compete against one another. Once Nikki and Leo meet up at a bar, sparks fly between the pair, and a budding romance begins. Their relationship, along with the relationship between their respective grandparents, comes to light, resulting in a bitter pizza cook-off to determine which family gets to stay in Little Italy and which one has to leave for good.
