In this South African supernatural horror thriller, a man named William Ziel falls on hard times, so he and his small family, which consists of him and his wife Sarah, and their adopted daughter Mary, move back to a farm that he inherited from his father. An old farmhand named Lazarus, who was with William's father in the final hours of his life, suddenly reappears at the house not long after the family moves in, and he develops a special bond with Mary. But what the family doesn't know is that Lazarus has a dark secret. He has brought the spirit of a demonic child back to the farm, and she has an insatiable craving for human souls.
