Michael Morbius is a successful biochemist who also possesses a rare blood disorder. Morbius decides that he is the best person to treat his condition with an experimental procedure. Things take a horrific turn when Morbius only succeeds in turning himself into a modern-day vampire. Morbius struggles to come to terms with his new reality while he searches for the cure that will make him normal once again. What he finds in his search could be worse than being a vampire.
