Ben Burns, a well-meaning man afflicted by deep-seated troubles, visits his childhood home one Christmas Eve, much to his family's surprise. Ben?s mother, Holly, is overjoyed to be in her son?s elusive presence. Almost immediately upon his return, Holly discovers that harmful influences are closing in on Ben. As an attempt to keep the family out of harm?s way, Holly?s forced to harness her indignation for the sake of her beloved children.
