Silicon Valley, an American comedy series, follows the lives of six young men who hope to strike it rich by founding a startup company in Silicon Valley, California. Introverted computer programmer Richard and his brilliant, but awkward, friends live together rent-free in a Bay Area startup incubator, which a millionaire entrepreneur, Erlich, owns. In exchange for a free living space, Erlich expects a stake in all of the group's projects. When Richard develops an innovative search algorithm at his job, he gets caught between his boss's offer of an eight-figure buyout and his agreement with Erlich.
