Togetherness follows Brett and Michelle Pierson, a married couple living in Los Angeles who have lost the spark in their marriage after years together. The situation becomes more complicated when Brett's unemployed best friend Alex and Michelle's older sister Tina move in with the couple. Along with the Pierson's two children, this strange combination of family and friends must learn to cope with not only the living situation but the problems going on in their own lives.
