Wendy, a self centered New York City book critic, must learn to drive when her marriage falls to pieces and her husband is no longer there to drive her around. She enrolls in driving lessons from Darwan, an Indian Sikh. Darwan must struggle with keeping her eyes on the road as Wendy unravels, while also wrestling with the idea of an arranged marriage to a woman he has never met. Together they will find that the road of life often takes them to unexpected places.
