Ben and Mickey are a pair of former professional baseball players. The duo is trying to survive in the midst of an all out zombie apocalypse, meandering through the back roads and small towns of infested New England. However, their journey has been far from peaceful, and not just because of the zombies. Ben prefers to be something of a nomad and doesn't want to hang around one place for too long. Mickey, on the other hand longs to settle down and get back to something resembling his former life. Mickey isolates himself via his headphones, which are an almost permanent fixture on his head. Ben takes more of a hunter gatherer method, solely focused on surviving another day. Wandering, the pair smoke, fish, and get on each others nerves. This all changes when Ben picks up a signal from a fortified encampment and decides that he must get there, no matter the cost.
