Luke is a Texas man of deep Christian faith. He also happens to be an excellent small-town high school baseball coach. After leading his team to nine state championships, he gets an offer at double the salary to coach a major high school team in a big city. But Luke gets into hot water when he decides to emphasize prayer and Christian values for his players, seeking to build character first and good baseball players second.
