The show is an autobiographical look at Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's early years seen through flashbacks sparked by the interviews set in the future. Many of the episodes focus on his father's wrestling career. Eventually the show begins to follow his career in the WWE and his remarkable and sometimes comedic rise to stardom.
