The brilliant but ever-sullen inventor Nikola Tesla does all he can to bring his novel electrical system to the forefront of public attention. To do this, however, he'll have to square off against the formidable Thomas Edison. He feels conflicted about the, at the time, new concept of intellectual property and the idea of capitalism which was so embraced by the country into which he was trying to bring his inventions.
