Heartland is a Canadian television series set in the fictional town of Hudson, Alberta Canada. The show follows sisters Amy and Lou Fleming, who despite the loss of their mother in a tragic accident, pull together to treat unkept and injured horses at their Heartland ranch. Amy and Lou are joined by their grandfather, Jack Bartlett, a former rodeo star and cattle rancher who assists them in their day to day operations. With adversity always around the corner, the family must overcome obstacles and work together to make their ranch a success.
