A heartwarming drama that follows a family living in Alberta, Canada. The story describes the ups and downs of every day family life and how the family copes with these issues. Based on the book ?Heartland? by Lauren Brooks, this series follows sisters Amy and Lou Fleming and other family members who live on the family horse farm. The mother has been killed in a car accident and the sisters believe that a gift was left by their deceased mother. This gift allowed them to communicate with and heal abused and neglected horses. The family faces many obstacles but manages to overcome adversity.
