Oliver Queen's life changed forever when his father's yacht sank at sea, his father and fiancee died and he washed up on an uncharted, mysterious island. Five years later, Oliver Queen returns home to Starling City after being presumed dead to find a city in crisis and filled with corrupt elements. Seeing no other choice, Oliver cloaks himself in a hood and goes after those responsible with a bow as his weapon to seek justice for the citizens who have been hurt by unscrupulous business ventures and manipulations. Starling City's residents refer to him as the vigilante called the Arrow.
