Ryan Hardy must hunt down a crazed serial killer name Joe Carrol. The serial killer is a great human manipulator and has formed a cult that go around and kill people in the name of Joe. Ryan has a unique personal relationship with Carrol that adds a twist to the plot. In addition, both men share the same love for a woman named Claire, who was actually married to Carrol while he was killing many different people. Throughout the show, there are many plot twists that are unexpected and many main characters die.
