NCIS: Los Angeles is a drama series about the Naval Criminal Investigative Service's Office of Special Projects that conducts its business based out its Los Angeles division. The standard plot follows the basics of a police procedural show: a crime is committed at the beginning, a detailed investigation soon follows and the capture or killing of the criminals who committed the crime. Five main characters make up the regular cast: G. Callen, a master of disguise; Sam Hanna, a former Navy SEAL; Hetty Lange, the OSP operations manager; Eric Beale, the tech operator; and Kensi Blye, a Junior Special Agent.
