A small town girl enters the military in hopes of contributing more to society than she could at home. After joining the army she soon finds herself stationed as a guard at Guantanamo Bay; a position that forces her to see the ethical struggle of friend and foe in a different light. She forges a friendship with a long-time prisoner in the camp, and the two of them weather their respective hardships together.
