Olivia Lockhart is a municipal court judge in the small town of Cedar Cove. While many small towns have a seedy underbelly that casual observers would never notice, Cedar Cove is exactly what it seems to be, which is a beautiful town with good people. When the town's only lighthouse is threatened with demolition, the entire town rallies together to stop the land developer from destroying it. When they can't seem to stop him, they turn to Olivia's courtroom for justice and to save the lighthouse.
