Person of Interest is a unique criminal drama series. Harold Fitch is an eccentric billionaire skilled in software technology with a passion for saving the world. Using his genius to build a machine capable of detecting crime before it happens, he has enlisted the help of John Reese, ex-CIA, to handle things in the field. The Machine monitors everyone around the world searching for potential acts of terror or crime. When a number comes up, Reese goes into action. Although the Machine was originally contracted by the U.S. government, it is now being kept hidden away in a secret location. As in most covert operations, Fitch and Reese are playing a dangerous game where no one can be trusted, not even the police.
