Sometime in the near future, robots will be commonplace. They will be used for most domestic tasks in the home, but a computer scientist will accidentally create the first intelligent robot artificial intelligence named Archos. Archos slowly infects all electronic devices to test human reactions to an attack. Its probes are meant to assess the human response to see whether a war against humans would be successful. The attacks are seen as random malfunctions. A smart car suddenly loses control and is announced to be equipment failure. Robots randomly attacking their owners are seen as faulty programming in the robot. This continues until one day Archos implements his plan of attack and the entire world of technology is turned against humans. The only humans not effected are a group of Native Americans living on a reservation. They are the group that fights back against Archos and thwart his quest for eradication of the human race.
