In Nocebo, a fashion designer named Christine suffers from an unknown condition that baffles his doctors. She suffers numerous psychosomatic ailments, such as headaches, rashes and nerve pain, which immediately disappears when she sees a doctor. The mysterious illness also frustrates the designer?s husband, who does not know what to do to help her ailing wife. Fortunately, the designer finds help from a Filipino carer called Diana. The carer utilizes traditional folk healing mechanisms to reveal shocking details. The entire treatment process took a lot of effort, and it was not as satisfying as Christine and her husband, Flex, expected.
