Four teenagers on the cusp of becoming adults promise that their friendship will last beyond high school. At a yard sale, two of them come across a strange geometric, metal contraption with a ball-like shape that features a smaller ball inside of the cage of a larger one. The seller tells them that it's a friendship game. If their friendships don't survive after playing it, then neither do they. Curious about what the seller might mean, they pay her $10 for the device. They're told that all they need to do is place their fingertips on the any part of the surface at the same time and share their "deepest" desires with one another. It seemed like a fun way to pass the time until one of them goes missing. Was it a coincidence or something more sinister?
