An aging former film star, Veronica Ghent, journeys to the U.K. to recuperate following her cancer diagnosis and recent double mastectomy surgery. The thespian is accompanied by her nurse and travel companion, Desi Hatoum. Filmed in Glasgow, Scotland, and the Scottish countryside, their lodgings are rooted in dark and sinister origins, where women were accused of and burnt for witchcraft generations before. Their resulting ashes continue to infiltrate the land and provide Veronica with the power to exact revenge via her dreams.
