Resident Alien is a comedy-drama about an alien arriving on Earth to fulfill his mission of exterminating humanity. Upon landing, he kills a pathologist on vacation, assuming his identity as a disguise. Learning everything he knows about the profession from watching Law and Order, the visitor becomes entangled in the investigation of the unknown death of the town doctor, building more trust with humans as a result and questioning if his mission should be fulfilled.
