Clarice is a psychological crime drama centered around Clarice Starling, the main character from The Silence of the Lambs. In the aftermath of Hannibal Lecter's escape following her association with him, one year's passing shows Clarice being looked at as an untrustworthy agent. However, the mother of Buffalo Bill's living victim, Ruth Martin, assigns her to a new task force dedicated to stopping child predators, murderers, and serial killers. Despite her uneasiness, Clarice agrees to come out of retirement and slowly rebuild her professional life.
