He chose this secluded life five years ago after his daughter went missing.
Every day since, Rayburn does what he can to maintain the sanctuary while grieving her, hanging missing child posters and drinking away his pain.
New town sheriff, Alice Gustafson, is just settling into the area when the body of a young girl is found along the river. It's obvious that someone hunted her for sport, which means that she has a serial killer on her hands.
Not long after, Rayburn catches sight of another girl and the killer on one of the sanctuary's cameras. He wonders if this is what happened to his little girl.
The two hunters find themselves working together to locate a criminal who knows how to hide easily both in the forest and in town.
